“Kusari” was the ancient Japanese term for chain mail armour worn by samurais in the 1300s. The tightly-woven linking pattern of this bracelet was inspired by this impenetrable protective gear.

Comfortable, with a nice weight and sturdiness and a clasp that's easy to use one-handed. I also love that the antique finish still has a shine to it. IF YOU HAVE A SMALL WRIST LIKE ME, you probably want to consider going up at least half a size, maybe a whole size. I have the daintier Strain bracelet in a 7 which fits me loosely; because of the thickness of the chain and the way the clasp is affixed on Kusari, however, the size 7 is too snug for my dominant wrist and comfortable only with the clasp spun to the outside of my non-dominant wrist. Thankfully I prefer my bracelets pretty snug, so I won't have to exchange it.
