Part of a limited three-piece collection designed in collaboration with the Tenants of HXOUSE – Julieta is a chainmail choker composed of interlocking rings that form a dense, architectural mesh. At its center hangs a jagged, radiant heart charm—an abstracted take on sacred heart iconography, reinterpreted through a modern industrial lens.
Conceived by HXOUSE Tenants and designers Nathalia De La Roche Ortiz and Bekah Brown, Julieta channels the visual language of heightened romance and theatrical symbolism—drawing influence from ornate religious motifs and the dramatic excess of star-crossed love stories. The pearlescent heart, encased in a crown of spikes, evokes both devotion and defiance, merging soft emotion with sharp structure. Built around the idea of timeless relics, each piece is designed to transcend fashion cycles, embodying an aesthetic that is both ornamental and otherworldly—delicate, dramatic, and enduring.
HXOUSE is a Toronto-based creative incubator committed to provide interdisciplinary and hands-on learning opportunities.
